Biography


David George Frame, PharmD

David Frame is a hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant clinical specialist at the University of Michigan Health System and assistant professor of pharmacy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and assistant professor of pharmacology and medicine at RUSH University in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Frame earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, then completed a fellowship in oncology at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. He then was director of the clinical pharmacy hematology/oncology/ BMT services and research at Rush University Medical center for 11 years before moving to the University of Michigan.

His research experience includes areas of molecular biology, chemistry and biochemistry, kinetics, quality of life, anticoagulation, and hematology and oncology. He has several publications including articles in the journals, JAMA, AJHP, Managed Care and Transplant Infectious Disease, Pharmacotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation.

Dr. Frame is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, International Society of Oncology Pharmacists, and is currently chair of the research committee for the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacists Association.
