Target Audience
The primary target audience for this initiative consists of medical directors, pharmacy directors, clinical pharmacists, specialty pharmacists, quality directors, as well as network physicians affiliated with various MCOs, health systems, and other payer organizations. Other managed care professionals include nurses, case managers, policy administrators, utilization managers, C-suite executives, and IT professionals.

Statement of Need/Program Overview
An understanding of atopic dermatitis by clinicians as well as managed care professionals is critical. Specifically, with a rapidly evolving treatment armamentarium, payer decision makers need to be kept up-to-date on changing clinical guideline and how utilization management strategy decisions impact patient access to care.

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Discuss payer benefit management strategies to minimize common barriers to AD therapies and improve access to appropriate care
Evaluate benefit strategies to support timely access to appropriate evidenced-based treatments
