Stephanie Spence, PharmD, CSP is the Program Director, Specialty Pharmacy for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, a commercial payer supporting over 3 million member lives in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia markets. In this role, Dr. Spence is responsible for specialty drug strategy and utilization management across pharmacy and medical benefits.

Dr. Spence has extensive experience in various roles within specialty pharmacy including operations, account management, program development, business development, and clinical practice. She is an active member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and holds committee memberships and volunteer positions with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP). Dr. Spence is a multi-licensed, Certified Specialty Pharmacist™ (CSP) and guest lecturer for various schools of pharmacy.
