While Dr. Bauer has a particular interest in food allergy and eosinophilic esophagitis, she treats the spectrum of allergic disorders including environmental allergies, eczema, asthma, drug allergies and hives.
She places the utmost importance on listening to her patients and their families and addressing all of their concerns, keeping in mind that the human side of medicine is just as important as what the text books say.
Dr. Bauer completed her undergraduate education at Georgetown University, and her medical degree in 2010 from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She then held her residency at New York University School of Medicine and a fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. | |
