Janna is a Clinical Account Consultant Pharmacist located in the Houston, TX area who supports employer groups by providing clinical insights to inform drug management strategy across pharmacy and medical benefits. She has detailed knowledge of pharmacy benefits, including formulary, networks and contracting, claims reporting, and specialty drug management as well as extensive experience with implementing new pharmacy programs and benefits for clients.

Janna joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) in 2019. Prior to working with BCBSTX, Janna supported Houston-area employer groups as an Account Executive for Prime Therapeutics. She brings experience from more than 15 years in the pharmacy industry, including leadership positions in operations and clinical programs with leading retail pharmacies.

Janna earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is actively involved with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and the Southwest AMCP Affiliate where she currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer.
