Janelle Grubbs R.Ph. is on the Executive Leadership Team serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Services and Operations at Kroger Prescription Plans. (KPP). KPP’s mission is to improve health outcomes through simplified solutions that combine health, wellness, and nutrition, connecting with people on an emotional and personal level.

As the Senior Director of Clinical Services & Operations, Janelle directs the day-to-day clinical operations, clinical initiatives, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) operations, vendor management and regulatory and contracting compliance. Janelle serves as Co-Chair of KPP P&T Committee and supports the Ascent GPO relationship with Kroger.

In addition to Janelle 20+ years of experience in the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) space, during her career Janelle was hired as Director of Quality Assurance at a drug repacking company to help mitigate an FDA Warning letter and gained deep knowledge and experience with cGMP.

Janelle graduated from Ohio Northern University with a dual degree, Pharmacy and Vocal Performance where she was affectionally known as the “singing Pharmacist”. Janelle and her husband, the accompanist, met thru music and in their spare time they still love to make music together.

Janelle resides in Columbus, Ohio and is married with 2 college aged children. On becoming empty nesters, the joke is she and her husband replaced their kids with 2 dogs.
