James D. Chambers, PhD, MPharm, MSc, is an Associate Professor at the Tufts Medical Center Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies. He leads the Tufts Medical Center Specialty Drug Evidence and Coverage (SPEC) Database and the Medicare National Coverage Decisions (NCD) Database.

Dr. Chambers graduated from Queens University in Belfast with an MPharm degree and previously worked as a pharmacist in the UK and Ireland. He also obtained an MSc from the University of York and PhD from Brunel University, both in Health Economics.
