Heidi J. Crayton, MD, is the Medical Director of the MS Center of Greater Washington and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Crayton received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she also completed an internal medicine internship. Subsequently, she completed an adult neurology residency at Georgetown University Hospital and a multiple sclerosis fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. In addition, she is a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the National Capitol Chapter of the National MS Society. Dr. Crayton has been a Principle and Co-Investigator for several studies on multiple sclerosis treatments. She has published articles on managing the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, in addition to participating in the development of a treatment algorithm for MS.
