Dr. Hannah Lee-Brown is a managed care pharmacist with Healthfirst, New York’s largest not-for-profit health insurer. In her current role, she designs and oversees the pharmacy benefits for the Medicare business. She also serves as a preceptor for the Healthfirst Managed Care PGY1 Residency Program.

Prior to working in managed care, Hannah completed an executive fellowship at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) where she supported medication use quality optimization through her work in measure development, measure implementation, research, and academic affairs. Hannah’s national quality landscape environmental scan helped shape the strategic direction of PQA’s 2019 measure development priorities. Her collaborative efforts with the research team, exploring medication access interventions for the Access to Care project, critically added to the growing body of literature on Social Determinants of Health. The Migraine Roundtable she curated and coordinated resulted in identification of key measurement gaps and creation of new measure concept ideas. Additionally, Hannah facilitated the PQA Academic Affairs Committee and developed curriculum for the PQA Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiential Rotation.
