Dr. Charletta Ayers, MD, MPH is the acting Vice Chairman and the Chief of Obstetrical service at the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. In addition to her extensive experiences in the research and clinical service of obstetrics and contraception, Dr. Ayers heads a volunteer mission to serve the needs in Ghana and Jamaica. Dr. Ayers headed more than twenty clinical trials and is now preparing for a trial on a device for detection of amniotic fluid leakage.
