Dr. Golden is a past president of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, IN; her master of science in nursing education from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ; her master of science in nursing practice from Northern Arizona University; and her doctor in nursing practice from Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ with an emphasis in evidenced based practice and health policy. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and chapters, and has presented locally, nationally and internationally on varied topics related to nursing and advanced practice.
